The Sunderland boss admit he wants to sign at least 3 more players after bagging the loan deal of Chelsea's Jake Clarke Salter.
Ahead of returning to his home nation, which Chris Coleman managed before taking up the role on Wearside, he's revealed the new boy will go straight into the game.
The Black Cats face 3rd top Cardiff, looking to lift themselves off the bottom of the table.
Two of the players the gaffer wants to bring in are strikers to add to the squad, as James Vaughan is confirmed as joining Wigan Athletic.
The 29 year-old has scored two goals in 23 appearances since joining from Bury in the summer and has completed a permanent transfer to Wigan Athletic for an undisclosed fee.
