Sunderland's Under 23's are out of the Premier League's International Cup.

They faced Newcastle at the Stadium of Light last night in a Wear-Tyne derby, that ended 2-each and went to penalties.

Despite Lynden Gooch scoring 2, to give the Black Cats a 2-1 lead, a stoppage time strike from Magpie Callum Roberts meant extra time before spot kicks.

It eventually ended 11-10 in the visitors favour, to send Newcastle into the last 4.
